You don't have to delete your whole account to get rid of data. This page covers deleting specific data while keeping your account. (Looking to delete everything? That's account deletion.)
Things you can delete in the app right now
- Your posts — delete any of your videos from the post's menu.
- Your chat messages — delete your own messages in global chat.
- Your profile details — change your display name or profile picture in Settings anytime.
- Engagement data going forward — flip off data collection in Settings and we stop collecting engagement analytics immediately. Raw engagement events we already collected are automatically deleted within 90 days no matter what.
Everything else — email us
For anything you can't remove yourself — old comments, your engagement history right now instead of after the 90-day purge, image attachments, or any other data tied to your account — send a request to promptedmod@gmail.com.
- Send the email from the address on your prompted account so we can verify it's you.
- Tell us your username and exactly what you'd like deleted.
- We'll process it within 30 days (usually much faster) and confirm by reply.
Good to know
Deletion is permanent — we can't restore deleted videos or data afterwards. Records tied to moderation, safety reports, or legal obligations may be retained where required. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
